Fire Commissioner August Vorndran has decided to retire from the North East Joint Fire District’s Board of Fire Commissioners, effective January 10, 2025. Commissioner Vorndran has honorably served on the Board of Fire Commissioners for more than 5 years. Commissioner Vorndran has served our community as an emergency services volunteer for more than 55 years. He will continue to serve as the Captain of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Police Unit.
