On December 26, 2024, the North East Joint Fire District’s Board of Fire Commissioners swore in the 2025 Chief Officers. The Chiefs were elected by the membership of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department and approved by the Board of Fire Commissioners. Serving as District Chief will be Brian Smith, First Assistant Chief Steve Kozak and Second Assistant Chief Dan Andrews. Newly elected Fire Commissioner William Southwell was also sworn in for a five-year term.
