It was a magnificent day at the Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester located on Ridge Road in Webster. Hundreds of people turned out to pay tribute to their challenger athletes and the men and women who keep them safe. There were carnival games, food trucks, Spike from the Rochester Red Wings and of course area first responders, including nearly a dozen Webster Volunteer Firefighters and members of the Webster Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and New York State Police. A great time was had by all.
